Turkey’s largest fruit farm & fruit
juice producer trusts FarmERP

To efficiently manage operations for 2500 Ha of land & 3.5 Million fruit trees over single software platform

Introduction

Our esteemed client from Turkey is operating with a mission to become one of Europe’s leading fresh fruit growing and juice producing companies with 2500 Ha of land and 3.5 million planted fruit trees in five different regions of Turkey.

Challenge

  • With over 2500 Ha of land, 3.5 Million trees planted over six scattered farms, this company has huge operations. And they struggled to have operational control over these farms and manage their time critical activities.
  • They faced challenge with respect to rising inputs, labours and machinery costs and lack of co-ordination because of remote locations. Unavailability of real time farm data hugely affected on farm decision making and was hampering quality. Collaboration among Agronomist and field engineers was unorganized.
  • The client was using traditional means to record activities performed on daily basis. This was resulted in loss of productive time and analysis of this data was not possible.
  • Company management was keen to use existing legacy software for finance. Weather stations and biometric equipment’s which used to produce real time information were operational in independent manner.

Approach

FarmERP solution was best suited to the clients’ needs, specifically because of its customization and integration capabilities and its potential for managing client’s multi locational operations. FarmERP experts conducted Business blueprinting and analysis in association with Clients’team. Further customization and integration scope was finalized.

FarmERP was offered as single digital ERP platform over which this client could run its entire business. Farm Director could keep control over planning and production activities over his farm. Agronomists could push crop advisory to field engineers across the plantation. Store managers could manage location wise inventory whereas Purchase Manager could manage purchase activities. Management users could use Farm Analytics dashboards to take important decisions

FarmERP allowed employees to access information anytime, from anywhere.Mobile application increased accessibility and accuracy in data capture.

All the material, labours and machines required for the operational activities were budgeted and hence macro level planning was possible. Integration with legacy financial software was achieved seamlessly.
